MOGADISHU [SMN] – A huge explosion was reported in the Somali capital Mogadishu moments ago as the country is holding a crucial presidential election on May 15.
A witness said a suicide bomb was targeted at a security checkpoint in the vicinity of KM4 junction, targeting Intellhence officers protecting the main airport.
The details of the blast remain murky as police cordoned off the scene.
