Aden Barre Duale becomes Kenya’s minister of defense

NAIROBI — Kenyan President William Ruto recently Tuesday announced his new Cabinet of Ministers to fully take charge of the East African country.

 

Aden Barre Duale has been appointed as the Minister of Defense of Kenya, while Alfred Mutua will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs, according to the Kenyan media.

Other members of the cabinet include Moses Kuria who will be the Minister of Trade and Industry and Kithure Kindiki who will be the Minister of Home Affairs.

The Kenyan president also appointed Musalia Mudavadi, one of the leaders of the coalition parties with the president, as the First Secretary of the Council of Ministers.
