MARKA [SMN] – Somali government forces arrested an Al-Shabaab commander during an operation in Marka town, which is the capital Lower Shabelle region, south of Somalia.
Aweys Mayow, who was Al-Shabaab’s head of explosives has been captured as he was planting a landmine at a busy tea shop frequented by soldiers.
