Four wounded as Blast hits Somali capital


MOGADISHU [SMN] – An explosion was reported in downtown Mogadishu on Wednesday evening as the country is battling against Al-Shabaab in central regions.


The blast, according to the witnesses took place in Trepiano street, which links the bust KM4 junction to the presidential palace known as Villa Somalia.

The car bomb wounded at least four civilians, according to police sources.

There was no claim of responsibility for the attack which bore all the hallmarks of Al-Shabaab bombings.
