Djibouti’s president set to arrive in Somali capital under tight security

MOGADISHU [SMN] – The President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, and his delegation are set to pay an official visit to Somalia’s capital Mogadishu today.

 

The preparations for the reception of the President and his delegation are widely felt in the country’s capital, with security extremely tightened.

The security agencies have blocked the traffic in the main streets in Mogadishu while in some places people are not even allowed the pedestrians to walk.

The sources also say that the President of the Somali regional state in Ethiopia, Mustafa Cagjar, and the Minister of Defense of Kenya, Aden Barre Duale, is coming to Mogadishu.
