Farmajo receives credential from Saudi Ambassador

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo received the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia HE Ahmed Bin Mohamed Salah at a ceremony held at the State House.

Ambassador Ahmed Bin Mohamed conveyed to the President of the Republic a greeting and a message of respect for the nationhood and unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, conveyed by His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.

He also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended to him by the people and government of Somalia.

President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo congratulated Ambassador Ahmed Bin Mohamed on his appointment as Ambassador and wished him success in representing his country and contributing to the strengthening of the long-standing ties between the two fraternal peoples.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, HE Abdisaid Muse Ali, the Director General of the Presidency, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Isse and the Director of Arab Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
