Kuwait Categorically Condemns Somalia Deadly Terror Blast


MOGADISHU – Kuwait categorically denounces a terrorist bombing that struck a hotel in south-central Somalia, which left a number of people dead and injured, the Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.


The explosion in the Hirshabelle State town of Jowhar targeted a hotel located next to the presidential palace.

In a statement, the ministry stressed Kuwait’s ‘categorical and unwavering stance against violence and terrorism.

It also reiterated its calls on the international community to intensify efforts to tackle this dangerous phenomenon and rid humanity of its evils.

Kuwait went on to convey its condolences to the government and people of Somalia, along with the families of the victims and wished those injured a quick recovery.
