MOGADISHU [SMN] – The Prime Minister of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble has spoken about the challenges faced by the elections in the country.

Roble said if no elections are held, the country would be in shambles, and he was committed to implementing an inclusive election.

He noted that there are people who want to delay the elections to score a political goal and instructed Security and Defense ministers to work to ensure the security of the country.

The statement from Roble comes at a time when elections have been delayed several times and no official decision has yet been made on when the elections will end.
