Somali lawmaker passes away in Mogadishu


MOGADISHU [SMN] – The speaker of the Lower House Sheikh Adan Madobe sent his condolences to the family of a lawmaker who died in Mogadishu after a long illness.


“I share the grief and pain with the family, relatives, and the entire Somali people. May God has mercy on MP Mohamed Mursal Borow,” said Sheikh Adan Madobe.

Madobe said that the late Borow was a statesman who worked for his country in his time and played a major role in state building.

It’s unknown the exact illness that led to the demise of the MP who was elected from Southwest State.
