Somali PM held a phone conversation with US official

MOGADISHU [SMN] – The Prime Minister of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble, spoke by telephone with US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Molly Phee.

Roble and the US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs discussed the political situation, security, and elections in the country.

The talks come at a time when Villa Somalia is facing increasing pressure over the dispute between the President and the Prime Minister.

The United States of America is one of the main supporters of Somalia and is closely monitoring the country’s political situation and electoral issues.
