Somali PM holds talks with his Djibouti counterpart

DJIBOUTI [SMN] – The prime minister of Somalia Hamza Abdi Barre, who is on a three-day visit to Djibouti held a meeting with his counterpart Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed.

 

Hamza thanked Abdoulkader Kamil for his warm welcome in the country on Tuesday during the talks that centered on the war on Al-Shabaab and boosting bilateral ties.

Abdoulkader said the visit strengthens the brotherly relations between the two countries and explores new ways to enhance cooperation in security, trade, and diplomacy.

The Somali PM is expected to meet with President Ismail Omar Guelleh before ending his trip which becomes the 3rd overseas visit since he assumed office in June this year.
