Somali president heads to Uganda for IGAD meeting

MOGADISHU [SMN] – The President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed (Farmajo) will travel to Kampala, Uganda in the coming days.

Farmajo is attending an IGAD summit in Kampala to discuss the situation in Ethiopia and Sudan.

Somali president is also expected to deliver a speech at the conference on the crisis in the two countries which are IGAD members.

Ethiopia is embroiled in a war between the government and the TPLF, while Sudan has been overthrown by a military coup.
