The President warned of the impact of drugs on the stability and development of the country, and highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Capital Community, the Administration and the Security Sector, to raise awareness among young people about the dangers of drugs. their lives.

“Our country is under increasing threat from the enemy and we must all stand together to protect our children. That enemy is the growing drug in our country that threatens the stability of the country and the future of Somali children. ”

The President of the Republic expressed his displeasure at the sometimes degrading acts of the security forces against the Somali people by soldiers who do not understand their responsibility for the safety of their people, and instructed the Commanders at the Federal and District Levels in Benadir Region to assist. an iron caught on anyone found guilty of these acts.

For his part, Banadir Governor Omar Mohamud Mohamed, Commanders of the Armed Forces, Police and Intelligence briefed the President on the security situation in the capital and regional plans for peace, reconstruction and development in Banadir Region.
