The body of slain radio director buried in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU [SMN] – Abdulaziz Mohamud Guled (Afrika), a Somali journalist who was killed in an explosion in Mogadishu on Saturday night has been buried on Sunday.

Funeral prayers were offered at a mosque near the presidential palace, and Prime Minister Roble was among those attending the Janazah of the slain radio director.

The body of the deceased was later buried in a cemetery at the Military Hospital where members of the government, journalists, and relatives of the deceased were present.

Abdiaziz Afrika, the director of Radio Mogadishu died after a bomber blew himself up in his car as he left a restaurant after dinner last night.

The director of the Somali National Television and his driver were also injured in the blast.
