MOGADISHU [SMN] – The Council of Ministers has approved the appointment of Abdikadir Elmi Ali as Director of the Immigration agency following a proposal from the Ministry of Internal Security and the removal of former Director Mohamed Aden Kofi.
The Council of Ministers also approved Eng. Abdulkadir Aden Mohamud as the Chairman of the Somali Petroleum Authority following a proposal from the Ministry of Petroleum.
Today’s cabinet meeting was special and came at a time Somalia is holding elections.
