JOWHAR [SMN] – In Jowhar, the capital of HirShabelle, a security operation is underway by regional forces.
The operation follows a bomb blast in the town center yesterday, which injured two HirShabelle MPs.
Security officials said that their main objective was to prevent any further acts of insecurity and violence.
Jowhar is one of the major cities scheduled to hold elections in the country for new MPs.
