MOGADISHU [SMN] – Reports from Harale area of ​​Balanbale district in Galgadud region say that heavy fighting broke out between two clan militias resulting in casualties.

The fighting between the two clan militias, which are pastoralists, is said to have started over issues related to grazing land that led to the deadly clashes between the two clans.

Six people were killed and eight others were injured in the fighting, which took place in the towns of Balanbale and Guriel in the Galgadud region.

Residents of Harale said that the fighting has been recurring in the area, and in the past few years there have been clashes between rival militias in Galgadud and Mudug regions.
