ADDIS ABABA – The President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo attended the 35th African Union Summit which opened today at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa.
The conference was attended by African Heads of State, Heads of International Organizations, and other observers.
At the conference, which will continue until tomorrow, Farmajo will deliver his speech on Somalia’s vision for the future of Africa and efforts to fight terrorism, recover from the effects of COVID-19, and address floods, drought prevention, and locusts, all of which are threats to the African continent.
