KISMAYO, Somalia – The defence minister of Kenya Aden Barre Duale pays a visit to KDF in Somalia amid an ongoing drawdown of the AU troops in the Horn of Africa country.
Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale visited Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops serving under the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) at sector six headquarters in Kismayo, Somalia in a bid to boost their morale.
The visit was also to commemorate the festive New Year season with them in their operation areas. Duale while in Kismayo, Jubaland held a meeting with President Ahmed Madobe.
