MOGADISHU, Somalia – H.E. Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre hosted at his office the UK Ambassador to Somalia, Mike Nithavrianakis as the country is at war with Al-Shabaab.
According to a statement issued by the office of the prime minister, the two sides discuss bolstering bilateral ties between Somalia and the UK.
The PM and Ambassador exchanged views on recent regional developments, highlighting the importance of maintaining stability and peace in the region.
PM Barre expressed gratitude for the UK government’s unwavering support and reaffirmed their full respect for Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
