Somali President Receives Credentials of Six New Ambassadors At The Palace

MOGADISHU, Somalia — In a bid to strengthen international relations, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received the credentials of six newly appointed ambassadors to Somalia in an elegant ceremony held at Villa Somalia, the presidential palace in Mogadishu.

 

The ambassadors, who presented their credentials, were:

– Cristina Díaz Fernández-Gil of Spain
– Caitríona Ingoldsby of Ireland
– Nounke Kaba of Guinea
– Mirko Giulietti of Switzerland
– Rose Sakala of Zambia
– Julia Pataki of Romania

During the ceremony, President Mohamud expressed his optimism about the future of diplomatic relations with these nations. He extended his warmest wishes to the ambassadors, hoping for their successful tenures in fostering mutual cooperation and understanding.

The President highlighted Somalia’s ongoing commitment to enhancing bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of international partnerships in areas such as economic development, security, and cultural exchange.
