MOGADISHU, Somalia — Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Friday inaugurated three new roads in Mogadishu, marking a significant step in the city’s infrastructure development.
The ceremony not only celebrated the completion of these projects but also saw the Prime Minister lay the foundation stone for another vital road project that will connect Dabka to the bustling Bakara Market intersection.
During the event, Prime Minister Barre highlighted the importance of these initiatives, stating that they are crucial for enhancing mobility, supporting economic activities, and improving the aesthetic appeal of the capital.

“The roads you see today are a direct result of your contributions, a tangible return on the taxes you pay,” Barre said, addressing the crowd.
