MOGADISHU, Somalia — Somali forces launched a counteroffensive after al-Shabaab militants attacked Sabiid and Anole, two small but strategically important villages near Afgoye, earlier on March 20.
The National Intelligence and Security Agency [NISA] reported that more than 80 militants were killed in six airstrikes conducted on Thursday, March 21.
