MOSCOW, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) — Russian air defense systems shot down 46 Ukrainian drones overnight and Saturday morning, including three over the Moscow region, the Russian Defense Ministry said Saturday.
“On-duty air defense systems destroyed 41 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight,” the ministry said in a statement.
Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Moscow Time on Saturday morning (0500 GMT and 0700 GMT), a further five Ukrainian UAVs were shot down by on-duty air defense systems, the ministry added.
