MOGADISHU [SMN] – A witness in the Howlwadag district of the Banadir region confirmed that a bomb has exploded at a police station in Mogadishu.
The blast reportedly took place inside Bakara Market, specifically in the area known as Sarifyaraha, according to the witnesses.
The bomber struck shortly afternoon in front of the police station, causing no casualties.
It is not clear what caused the blast, but the situation was tense, and Somali security forces have arrived at the scene.
