KISMAYO [SMN] – The President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia Ahmed Mohamed Islam, today chaired a Cabinet meeting to discuss various issues.
The council extended its condolences to the people of Somalia on the recent death of Sheikh Abdinasir Haji Ahmed in Kismayo.
The Ministry of Security has provided details on the security situation and operations of security agencies, including urban security and elections. held a number of prisoners.
The council also approved Jubaland’s housing design policy, including the construction of quality housing for internally displaced persons [IDPs] and returnees from the Dadaab refugee complex in Kenya.
MP-elect Abdirashid Mohamed Hidig presented to the council the experiment of natural grass planted in Jubbaland which can be grown for a short period of time and then given to livestock and by Jubbaland businessmen.
