MOGADISHU [SMN] – An Explosion happened on the outskirts of Mogadishu, the Somali capital on Saturday morning, police and witnesses said.
Reports say that the explosion, which was a landmine, occurred on the road between Mogadishu and Afgoye, especially in Garasbaale area.
Local sources said that the mine hit a motorcycle carrying civilians traveling on the street.
At least two people were killed in the blast, while another was injured and they were all civilians, according to local sources.
The situation at the scene of the blast has been reached by Somali Federal Government forces who carried out a manhunt but no arrest was made.
