MOGADISHU [SMN] – Heavy gunfire was heard on Wednesday noon around Mogadishu airport which is under the protection of African Union forces.
Witness says gunmen opened fire at troops manning Marina gate before engaging heavy gunfight with the AMISOM soldiers. Al-Shabaab said it attacked Halane base.
