The President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, lauded the role of the Somali youth in the freedom, unity, and state-building of our country.
Farmajo has laid a wreath at the Statue of SYL in Mogadishu on Saturday as a cornerstone of the Somali people’s struggle against colonialism.
The president congratulated Somali youth on May 15th, the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Somali Youth League (SYL), and highlighted the significance of this day for the Somali people.
During his stay at the SYL Monument, the President paid tribute to the 13 young people who led the country’s independence and unity.
