Kismayo, October 21, 2025 – Jubaland State President Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madobe) officially inaugurated the new headquarters of the Jubaland Intelligence and Security Agency (JISA), a state-of-the-art facility funded through public taxation.
The modern complex is part of a broader development agenda spearheaded by the Jubaland administration, aimed at strengthening security, enhancing institutional capacity, and consolidating governance in the region.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, President Madobe commended JISA’s leadership and personnel for their commitment, professionalism, and patriotism. He lauded their achievements as exemplary and encouraged other government institutions to emulate their performance.
“The Jubaland forces possess a unique structure and discipline, distinguishing them from other security units across the country,” the president noted. He described them as highly trained and principled, with a firm resolve to defend the public and uphold the sovereignty of Jubaland.
President Madobe also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the continuous training, equipping, and advancement of the regional forces to fulfill their national duties—particularly in safeguarding security, combating terrorism, and ensuring lasting stability throughout Jubaland.
