War on Al-Shabaab in Jubaland

The regional President praised the operations of the Jubaland Army and the SNA in many parts of his state by reopening the roads in the districts previously controlled by Al-Shabab.

He said operations are part of the second phase of Somalia-led military campaign against Al-Shabaab that FGS wants to finalize this year with the support of the frontline-states.

On the other hand, the president called on the traditional elders and politicians in Gedo region to resolve the differences through dialogue and work on the reconciliation process.
