GAROWE [SMN] – The President of Jubaland, Ahmed Madobe, has on Monday arrived in Garowe, the capital of Puntland State of Somalia.
The President was warmly welcomed by Puntland leader Deni and the sections of the public at the airport on Monday morning.
Madobe will hold meetings with his Puntland counterpart, Said Abdullahi Deni, to discuss electoral issues and relations between the two regional administrations.
Deni has been a close ally to Madobe for the past three years and they were against the politics of current Somali president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.
