MOGADISHU, Somalia – The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh received Norway’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andreas Kravik.
They discussed ways to further strengthen the Somalia-Norway close relations and other issues of mutual interest and benefit to both countries.
Norway remains a vital partner in the Government’s efforts to consolidate stability and development.
Norway has already allocated almost NOK 200 million in humanitarian aid to Somalia in 2022.
The most important partner organizations are the UN, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and Norwegian humanitarian organizations.
