MOGADISHU [SMN] – Somali Prime Minister Mahamed Hussein Roble has revoked a letter from the Foreign Ministry authorizing a ship carrying illegal charcoal off the coast of Oman.
The prime minister also suspended his foreign minister, Abdisaid Muse Ali.
He ordered the auditor general and the security agencies to investigate the case and send it to the courts to take legal action against the minister.
The minister is to comment on the suspension and this move comes a day after Farmajo handed over the power to Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the newly elected Somali president.
