MOGADISHU [SMN] – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with a delegation led by the EU Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, Ms. Annette Weber, and the EU Ambassador to Somalia, Ms. Tiina Intelmann at Vila Somalia today on Wednesday.
President Mohamud and the EU special representative discussed the resumption of the European Union’s support to Somalia, demonstrating the EU’s commitment to supporting the policies and development plans of Somalia’s new President.
The President and Ms. Annette Weber agreed on the importance of strengthening relations between the European Union and Somalia.
On his part, The President thanked the European Union for its continued support to the Government and people of Somalia.
