MOGADISHU [SMN] – The chief of the Somali National Army [SNA] General Odowa Yusuf Rage met with Qatari Ambassador to Somalia Hassan Hamza Assad in his office.
They discussed strengthening bilateral relations and Qatar’s support for the SNA in the fight against Al-Shabaab.
The army boss also shared with the Ambassador the Somali government’s efforts to build a capable and fully-fledged military force as AU troops are preparing to exit in March 2022.
