JOWHAR, Somalia — General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhuddin, the head of the Somali National Army, has touched down in the Middle Shabelle region with the aim of intensifying the battle against terrorism.
Alongside him, Special Operations Commander Colonel David Haskell engaged in discussions with both local and U.S. officials to strategize a vigorous offensive against Al-Shabaab insurgents.
In his directives to military personnel, General Muhuddin emphasized the need for readiness in escalating military engagements, highlighting the crucial role of local community cooperation in these efforts.
U.S. officials, in turn, reaffirmed their commitment to this operation, pledging ongoing support in the fight against terrorism in Somalia.
