Somali Disaster Management Agency Provides Relief Aid to 900 Families in Bullo-Haji

MOGADISHU, Somalia  — The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) has provided relief aid to 900 families in the Bullo-Haji area of the Lower Jubba region, following their recent evacuation.

 

SoDMA Commissioner Mohamuud Moalim Abdulle emphasized that any city liberated from terrorist control will receive immediate assistance. He stated that the agency is committed to supporting the people of Bullo-Haji in their efforts to rebuild their lives.

“We are here to provide immediate relief to the people of Bullo-Haji,” Abdulle said. “Our goal is to ensure that they have the support they need to start rebuilding their lives.”

Abdulle also urged the residents to free themselves from terrorists who deny essential services and to cooperate with the national and Jubbaland forces to ensure safety and stability in the region. He stressed the importance of working together to create a safe and secure environment for all.

The relief aid includes food, water, and other essential supplies, and is part of a broader effort by the Somali government to support communities affected by terrorism. The government has pledged to continue providing assistance to all areas liberated from terrorist control.

The situation in Bullo-Haji remains tense, with the national and Jubbaland forces continuing their efforts to stabilize the region. The Somali government has called on the international community to provide further support in the fight against terrorism.
