ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia – The Deputy PM and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen held a bilateral discussion with his Somali counterpart Abshir Omar Jama.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, the two foreign ministers held a discussion and exchanged views on the two countries on the sideline of the 43rd African Union Ordinary Session.
The 43rd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council Session of the African Union kicked off in Nairobi, Kenya earlier today.
It is stated that Ethiopia and Somalia are very closely related in many areas and are committed to working together.
