MOGADISHU [SMN] – The Prime Minister of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble has appointed a committee to assess the situation in the second constituency of the Jubbaland administration in the town of Garbaharey in the Gedo region.
The team appointed by Roble includes members from his Office, the Electoral Commissions, and the Jubbaland, which will report on the situation in Garbaharey within seven days.
The appointment comes at a time when the Jubbaland has recently announced that it is not possible to hold elections in Garbaharey, the regional capital of Gedo.
