MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Banadir Regional Police Command has revealed that a woman accused of burning her husband recently in Mogadishu has been arrested.
The woman was identified as Muno Awsame Hussein, and the command said that she was arrested at the Yaqshid Police Station in Banadir region following days of massive search.
“On 17/2/2024, the Somali Police Force, especially the Yaqshid Police Station, arrested a woman who burned her husband on 16/2/2024. After a long search, she was arrested. The accused, MUNO AWSAME HUSSEN, 21 years old, will be brought before the court. Powerful,” said the Banadir Regional Police Command.
In the last few days, there have been tragic murders of married Somali families in Mogadishu and other parts of the country.
There is also still in the hands of the government Sayid Ali Macalin Daoud who is also accused of burning his wife in Mogadishu who was named Luul Abdicasis who was pregnant has not been buried by her family and has been in Fidge for more than two weeks.
