ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia – President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Adis Ababa to join other African Heads of State and Governments for the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union, scheduled for 17-18 February 2024.
The significant gathering offers a platform for mutual discussion on critical issues facing the continent, including peace and security, economic integration, and climate change.
At Bole International Airport, the president was received by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Ahmed Shide.
During the Summit, President Mohamud will hold side meetings with various heads of state and government and other heads of delegations to strengthen Somalia’s bilateral relationships, explore new partnerships, and discuss issues of bilateral and regional importance.
