MOGADISHU, Somalia – During their weekly meeting, the Somali Cabinet applauded the League of Arab States (LAS) resolute backing of Somalia’s security, stability, unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The Arab League’s emergency meeting which was convened upon the request of Somalia, served as the appropriate opportunity for the Arab League to adamantly denounce any acts that undermine or infringe upon the sovereignty of Somalia.
This significant endorsement and solidarity by the League of Arab States bolsters the Federal Republic of Somalia’s position in the region and underscores the government’s continued dedication to upholding its rightful position in defending our sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
