MOGADISHU, November 4, 2025 (AFP) – Somalia’s Chief of SNA’s Land forces, Major General Sahal Abdullahi Omar, closed a ten-day conference in Mogadishu attended by commanders of all units of the Somali National Army’s Ground Forces.
The conference, organised by the Army Command, focused on workshops, strategic planning, and prioritising initiatives for the coming year to strengthen the operational efficiency of the Ground Forces.
During the event, commanders exchanged updates on security situations, troop training, and operational plans aimed at enhancing the coordination and capability of the army.
At the closing ceremony, General Omar urged the commanders to intensify their efforts and double their commitment to assigned tasks, praising their dedication and decision-making throughout the conference.
