Mogadishu — Somalia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, spoke by phone on Thursday with Kuwait’s newly appointed Foreign Minister, H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
During the conversation, Minister Abdisalam extended his congratulations on Sheikh Jarrah’s appointment, expressing optimism and goodwill toward strengthening the longstanding friendship between the two countries.
The Somali minister emphasized his government’s commitment to deepening strategic cooperation with Kuwait and thanked the Gulf state for its continued support and partnership with Somalia.
Both officials agreed to maintain close contact and regular consultations and to plan high-level meetings to further advance diplomatic and cooperative relations between Somalia and Kuwait.
