Algiers, August 10, 2025 — Somalia’s Foreign Minister and International Cooperation, Abdisaalam Abdi Ali, arrived in Algiers on Saturday, leading a high-level delegation aimed at strengthening diplomatic and strategic ties between Somalia and Algeria.
The delegation was warmly received upon arrival by the Somali Ambassador to Algeria, Yusuf Hassan Ahmed, community leader Yusuf Jeego, and other government officials.
The visit is part of ongoing efforts to deepen cooperation, promote regional stability, and enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
Abdisaalam Abdi Ali is scheduled to meet with senior Algerian officials to discuss security collaboration, trade development, and other areas of mutual interest.
The talks are expected to boost diplomatic relations and foster a long-term partnership benefiting both Somalia and Algeria.
