MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Intelligence Agency (NISA) said it has arrested Sufyaan Sheikh Ahmed, (Taakeeye) who was accused of spreading extremist ideas against the peace and stability of Somalia.

 

A press release from NISA said that Sufyaan Sheikh Ahmed, (Taakeeye) was also supporting the Al-Shabaab group which the government knows as the Khawarij group.

NISA said Sufyaan, a resident of Nairobi, Kenya, was brought down from Mogadishu and began investigations and interviews related to the relationship between al-Shabaab, other networks linked to it, and individuals who share this ideology that the government considers dangerous. Somali nation.
