HARGEISA, Somalia – The President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi has issued a decree dismissing the Minister of Rural Development and appointing a new minister for the office.
The regional leader has appointed Rabbi Abdi Mohamed Mohamud to become the Minister of Rural Development of Somaliland.
The President sacked Ahmed Aden Jama, who was holding the post.
The circular did not mention the official reason for the removal of Minister Jama, but it was mentioned that his removal was in line with Political culture.
Somaliland has been facing problems in recent times, including the political crisis caused by the term extension of the President and the wars that broke out in the West and the East.
Bihi has been accused of failing to hold elections on time, leading his administration to a land grab war, and causing the death of many soldiers in the Sool region.
