BAIDOA [SMN] – The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble is in Baidoa, the capital of the Bay region.
Roble last night met with security officials operating in Southwest state, who detailed the operations in the Lower Shabelle, Bay, and Bakool regions against Al-Shabaab.
The prime minister is also expected to meet with traditional elders in the South West today to discuss the upcoming elections in the country.
Rooble traveled to the Baidoa district to attend a ceremony marking the third anniversary of the Lafta Gareen election.
