MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Somali Police forces have carried out a planned operation in Hamar district and arrested a man who is said to have slaughtered his cousin.
The man accused of slaughtering the boy whose age is said to be 8 years old, the Somali Police said that they are investigating further and the suspect will be brought to justice.
The incident happened last Sunday in a neighborhood of Hamar Jajab District, it is not known yet the official reason why this man slaughtered his cousin.
“The Police Force of Hamar-Jajab District Station arrested a man who killed his nephew this afternoon. This incident happened at around 5:40 pm,” said a statement from the Banadir Regional Police Command.
Mogadishu and other regions of the country saw such incidents and this incident has been widely discussed on social in the past few days by Somalis at home and abroad.
